Lots of great ideas for productivity! Score–I’ve got several of them done on this Monday afternoon!

    • Amy Irvin

      Awesome!

I have an ongoing, ever-changing to-do list. Some days I am definitely more productive than others, but checking things off the list always makes me feel great. A plus with the list is that I feel obligated to do the not as fun stuff because it’s on the list so it gets done.

    • Amy Irvin

Defiinitely! A list is a form of accountability!

  3. Cynthia Mackintosh

I love your list! Life is short, so make the most of it now.

    • Amy Irvin

      Amen!

I think I can honestly say that I am terrible at folding my laundry and putting it away! But these are great tips for someone looking for a way to be more productive!

    • Amy Irvin

Folding and putting away laundry can easily get pushed back days at a time.

I work 12 hours a day 5 days a week and then have to work on my business. I would love to try a few of these when the hours wind down. My life is crazy right now!

    • Amy Irvin

Well, you are being productive at work!

This is so timely for me!! We just moved and it’s a bigger two story house rather than the beautiful ranch we lived in before, so I am OVERWHELMED with everything needing done. I decided enough was enough. I had a schedule and feel so much better! Monday is laundry day, Tuesday I clean bathrooms and floors, Wednesday is windows. I have three kids, 8,7 and 4 and Monday is craft day! Tuesday is park day etc. I have time for everything and everyone and we’ve started meditating and excercising! I feel like I’m getting it together and mommy is a much happier person lol

    • Amy Irvin

      Awesome! You go!

  7. Cindy

Great ideas! They do help. I feel far more productive when my kitchen is clean.

    • Amy Irvin

Yeah, some days the ordinary stuff has to be enough!

I’m in a weird place right now, visiting in PA with no wheels. The enforced down time has given me more time to work on the blog.
At the best of times, I’m a scatterbrain. I have lists of lists!

    • Amy Irvin

Good for you, staying on top of things!

  9. Cecile

Love your list. I always carry my planner with me. Every day I make a To-Do list. It was the only way I was able to be more productive. Thanks for sharing.

    • Amy Irvin

Thank you for sharing this. I know a lot of people make extensive lists. I use my notes in my phone for that currently. I also have a physical, paper planner for appts and such.

I burst into laughter at “do your laundry and put them away.” I’m so guilty of doing laundry and not putting it away till it’s time for the next round of laundry. I shall overcome someday lol. Thanks for your list of how t be productive, it is very informative.

    • Amy Irvin

Yeah I’m the same way, but sometimes I will put away the laundry that’s been sitting there for 2 weeks, then wash all currently dirty laundry AND put that away too. What a feat!

  11. Chelsea

Awesome list! If I wake up early (before my kids) and meditate, I always feel productive!

    • Amy Irvin

      Thats a big one!

  12. Tiffany

I have a planner but have been bad about using it lately (it got too full 😬). When I don’t use lists I’m not as productive

    • Amy Irvin

      Yeah, lists help!

  13. Erin

Ahhhh! We got to put that laundry away!!! I NEVER miss making my bed, but that “put the laundry away” is HARD!! Super great list! The worship and prayer are among those that we can do while multi-tasking (sweeping, vacuuming, etc….). I never seem to make time for the fun things on the list. I told my daughter just today that I was going to paint my toenails. Maybe tomorrow!!

    • Amy Irvin

We can’t get it all done in one day!

  14. Allison Peteet

Great list. I’m good if I can get all 30 done in a week.

    • Amy Irvin

      Ha!

  15. Adrienne

I absolutely love a good list! And this one is fantastic! The majority of them really do apply to a wide audience!

    • Amy Irvin

Yeah, they’re things we all need to do at some point. Thanks for commenting!

  16. Kristin

This is such a great list. I love that the task of calling a friend you haven’t spoken to in awhile can be productive. It’s so true because it’s easy to get caught up in life and not prioritize relationships.

    • Amy Irvin

Yeah, I’m a loner but the Lord has been impressing on me that people are important.

  17. Larissa Li

Love the list! Seems like I need to do them all :))

    • Amy Irvin

      <3 Thank you

  18. Barbara

Great advice! So necessary to be productive every day!

    • Amy Irvin

Yeah! Even if it’s with a couple of small things.

  19. Elizabeth

What a great list of awesome ideas! Sometimes you really just need to get started on something, anything, to get motivated for the rest of the day.

    • Amy Irvin

      Yes!

  20. Marianne

Love this list (but I am a list maker… so you really can’t go wrong). Lists give me direction and a way to focus on what I need to do. Putting playful things on a list, means you ensure there is time for fun in your life too!

    • Amy Irvin

True! We gotta have fun sometime. Thanks!

  21. Danielle Ardizzone

Great list! I actually have to tackle those bathrooms within the next day or so.

    • Amy Irvin

      They dirty quickly!

  22. Cindy+Moore

Great list of suggestions! I use a planner and notebooks…so many notebooks…for different things like scheduling out a month of blog and social media posts in advance.

    • Amy Irvin

      Awesome. Thanks for commenting!

  23. Alice

This is a great list and I did a lot of them this week. I start my day with Bible reading and prayer journaling. Also on my list is cleaning out the fridge! Been meaning to do that for awhile. Thanks for sharing!

    • Amy Irvin

      Awesome! Thanks for commenting.

  24. Stephanie

I love this. I appreciate that you included some self care tasks and also some short tasks. It helps people rethink what productivity is, especially when they are having a rough day and not necessarily up to a huge project.

    • Amy Irvin

Yes! The whole idea is doing something so you don’t waste the day 🙂
